Yes!!! Every time I pick up TOB to read, I keep ending up in such wildly different places than the popular TOB speakers take it. I like the name and I think it should stay because The Body is the man united to Christ (the church).

I have been a marriage theology nerd since high school and the image of marriage to Christ and Church had huge impacts on my faith development and ToB ended up being the catalyst to my conversion on Mary and the Pope over issues like monergism vs synergism, participation, invocation of the saints, and the unity of the church (a pure bride presented to her groom vs a dead concubine cut into pieces).

I could go on and on over it.

Oh... Also, to your last paragraph - the marriage metaphor/image of Christ and Church is elevated beyond the physical trappings of husband-wife-procreation dynamic in the sacrament of holy orders, where the priest acts out the more Christ-like celibate ministration to his virgin bride through the sacraments. The priest is St Joseph to the Church.
