It's only by taking the time to understand the Church's reasoning of why pornography harms everyone involved that a person can receive the grace to view pornography as vile. Not to mention how important it is to approach confession as a method Christ has given us to forgive ourselves, too.
I was able to overcome it by all these things and a particular devotion to the Holy Rosary. Nothing is impossible for God!
