We've seen for a long time with religious vocations that the progressive order has no legs. Why would a young lady dedicate her life to an order when she can do the same (or similar) social worker life on the outside as a wife and mother? Too many US women's orders sold their life as exactly something women could get on the secular side. Probably some men's orders did, too.
